  Intentional      Creative     Experiences.

Sanctum Artistry honors creativity as both play and practice—supporting self-expression through trauma-informed creative workshops and mentorship experiences designed to invoke reflection, imagination, and personal growth.

Intentional Creativity®

Intentional Creativity® is a reflective and intuitive art-making process that combines painting, symbolism, journaling, storytelling, and imagination as tools for personal exploration and transformation. Rather than focusing on perfection or technical skill, the process encourages participants to create with meaning, curiosity, and intention—bringing awareness and deep purpose to every brushstroke, word, and project. By setting a clear intention before we create, the artistic process becomes a powerful tool for self-discovery, mindfulness, and personal transformation.

Upcoming Workshop

This workshop is a symbolic painting and journaling experience centered around intention, identity, and personal growth. Participants create themselves as a kind of ‘Folk Saint’ using color, symbolism, glyphs, and intuitive painting to explore their strengths, life experiences, future goals, and the person they are becoming.

Through guided reflection and creative expression, the workshop focuses on transforming limiting beliefs, honoring resilience, and envisioning one’s highest path in a way that feels imaginative, empowering, and deeply personal.

*(You do not need to identify as religious, spiritual, or a trained artist to participate—only open to reflection, creativity, and symbolic exploration.)

This workshop is for you if:

~You are drawn to symbolism, creativity, mythology, or self-expression.

~You want a meaningful creative experience that feels reflective, imaginative, and immersive.

~You enjoy painting, journaling, storytelling, or exploring ideas through creativity or art—regardless of skill level.

~You are navigating change, growth, healing, or becoming, and want space to creatively reflect on your path.

~You are interested in exploring identity, intention, resilience, and personal symbolism in a nonjudgmental environment.

~You want to create art that feels emotionally authentic rather than technically perfect.

~You resonate with cosmic, archetypal, celestial, stained-glass, or mythic imagery.

~You are looking for a workshop that blends atmosphere, symbolism, creativity, and introspection in a way that feels empowering and unique.

~You want to reconnect with your imagination, intuition, and sense of possibility.

Start Your Creative Journey

What you might be wondering...

Absolutely not! All experiences are designed for beginners through advanced artists. Art is approached as exploration and process, not performance or perfection.

Yes, though it depends on the overall nature of the event. Groups are intentionally kept small to support safety, trust, and meaningful connection. One-on-one sessions are also available.

No. Sanctum Artistry offers healing-centered, trauma-informed creative experiences, but services are not art therapy and do not replace clinical mental health treatment. Facilitation is provided by a licensed educator and artist, not a licensed therapist.

Offerings are available for children, teens, and adults, including homeschoolers, preschoolers, after-school groups, individuals, families, community organizations, residential programs, and wellness retreats. All ages are welcome. Experiences are adapted to be developmentally appropriate and responsive to each group or individual’s needs.

Absolutely. Many offerings are specifically designed for those who feel unsure, hesitant, or disconnected from creativity. Gentle guidance and choice are central to the experience.

Materials vary by age and setting and are selected thoughtfully with safety, accessibility, and sustainability in mind. All necessary supplies will be discussed or provided.

Sessions may be held in community spaces, schools, homes, treatment facilities, wellness retreat settings, or other agreed-upon locations.

Creative practice helps us slow down, relax, and feel more present. Making art offers a safe way to express thoughts and feelings—whether through play, exploration, or reflection—especially when words are hard to find.

Creating can build confidence, support problem-solving, and encourage emotional awareness. It often brings people into a calm, focused “flow” state that supports clarity and creativity. Most importantly, art provides a healthy, joyful outlet that supports well-being, connection, and self-expression throughout life.

At its core, creativity connects us back to ourselves.

Begin by reaching out or requesting a consult. Together, we’ll discuss your needs and goals, and you’ll choose the art experiences that feel right for your purpose.
